Our room was impeccably clean and high-class with a view. Pleasant team on our request of warm room by providing one in a sunny location. The hotel had a central setting close to train and bus station. Moreover, it was next to pubs and restaurants as well as In centre of town next to train station

Request a room away from the busy road for a quieter experience. it's worth asking staff upon check-in.

The location of the hotel is perfect, in a few minutes you are in the city centre. The rooms are clean and cheap.
The rooms are very simple and probably a bit unkempt, in the bathroom the joints are old and broken, the toilet paper holder is broken. But for this price you can probably not expect more.

Fairly clean accommodation, pleasant and cheerful staff. Comfy units with TV as well as a bath tub, and brilliant staff. Marvellous location right in the centre of town and easy access to shops and the main shopping centre.

A run down hotel, room was cold, water was cold shower, big gapping in windows.

For our purposes (event in the Grand Theatre next door) the location was perfect, not least because of the proximity to the train station and the university.
A big minus was that there was no possibility to leave the suitcase in a storage room after checking out. Even the bus and train stations have no lockers and so my parents had to take the suitcase with them to my university farewell - a real problem.

I had a solid stay with a comfy bed and a nice view, though the bathroom was a bit outdated. The pricing was reasonable and a definite value for the money.

Very nice staff, central location, reasonable price!
During our stay construction work was in progress and it was a little noisy, even with the window closed.

The Britannia hotel offers great value with friendly staff and comfortable beds. While the decor feels a bit worn and the cleanliness isn't perfect, the central location near transport and pubs makes it convenient for travelers. The hot water issue was unfortunate, but overall, it served its purpose for a budget stay.

Very close to the train and bus stations and short distance to the city centre. Shopping around the corner. Pub directly opposite as well as further possibilities for eating and drinking not far away. Very friendly staff.
